D-Style Self-Dumping Hoppers with Automatic Bumper Release

D-style self-dumping steel hoppers provide efficient bulk material collection, transport, and dumping for warehouses, manufacturing plants, construction sites, machine shops, scrap handling areas, and facility cleanup operations. The automatic bumper release allows the hopper to dump when it contacts the side of a dumpster, while the manual cable release lets the forklift operator dump from the seat when needed.

Fork Truck Controlled Dumping

The self-dumping design helps operators remain at the fork truck controls throughout the dumping process. After dumping, the hopper returns to an upright and locked position, helping improve productivity when handling scrap, waste, parts, chips, packaging, and non-hazardous refuse.

Duty Ratings and Volume Range

This family includes light duty 12 gauge, medium duty 10 gauge, and heavy duty 8 gauge steel models with capacities from 2,000 lb. to 6,000 lb. Volumes range from 1/4 cubic yard to 5 cubic yards, allowing distributors and end users to match hopper size and strength to the application.

Options and Configurations

Available options include caster kits, polyethylene lids, leak proof welded construction, threaded drain plugs, fork retaining pins, lifting lugs, side extensions, and specialty color finishes. Full-length fork tubes, a safety restraint, and durable powder-coated construction support dependable use in demanding industrial material handling environments.  Must be attached to fork truck when dumping

NOTE: Hopper Use Prohibitions
  1. Hopper(s) must not be used by rough terrain lift trucks or telehandlers (boom trucks). ONLY use this hopper with high lift fork trucks having a vertical mast and carriage.
  2. Hoppers must not be mounted on stackers or on manually operated or propelled lift trucks.
  3. While a hopper is mounted on the forks of a high lift truck, only operate the truck on concrete or asphalt surfaces DO NOT operate the truck carrying this hopper on unimproved surfaces.
